Compared to Xiaomi Mi Box, Xiaomi Mi Box 4K version has much improvement. The processor is upgraded to quad core and comes with a 2.0GHz high frequency. The 2.0GHz quad core processor with Mali 450 GPU should have strong performance and can run multiple programs easily. The running memory is doubled to 2GB and with this, the box can runs more smoothly in a higher speed. It builds in 4GB eMMC storage which is not so strong as the RAM but it supports up to 64GB card extension which can perfectly make up the shortage of the ROM.
As its name showed, Xiaomi Mi Box 4K version supports 4K video output which can reach 30Hz refresh rate under 3840*2160 pixels resolution and that is enough for most 4K TV users at present. It makes more sense to play 4K video fluently than many other Android TV boxes which just support 4K resolution output.
Xiaomi 4K version also supports dual band wifi which can bring stronger and more stable wifi signal.
